When does protection become constraint?
In a Seochon hanok courtyard, Korea’s OFFSHOOT. and Estonia’s SORCERER rework socks that have lost their market value. Mending, wrapping and binding form garments that change how two bodies move, connect and separate.
ARMOR explores the pressures and tensions felt before they can be named, and the traces they leave on the body.
한 몸은 입고, 다른 몸은 벗습니다.
보호는 언제 구속이 되는가.
한국의 OFFSHOOT.와 에스토니아의 SORCERER가 서촌 한옥의 마당에서 만납니다. 상품가치를 잃은 양말은 기우고, 감고, 묶는 서로 다른 제작 방식을 거쳐 의복이 되고, 두 몸의 움직임과 연결, 분리의 조건을 바꿉니다.
ARMOR는 감정으로 이름 붙이기 전의 압력과 긴장, 그리고 그것이 몸에 남기는 흔적을 살펴봅니다.
